In the 25 year history of Quail Unlimited, the chapters in the state of Texas lead the nation by raising millions for important quail projects and research. The chapters are extremely proud of their legacy of fund-raising. In 2009, the Texas Chapters of Quail Unlimited dissolved the chapters in accordance with the bylaws of Quail Unlimited. The decision was due to heavy administrative overhead and debt creating major financial issues, which negatively affected the funding of QU’s stated mission in the field.
The leadership of each of the Texas chapters agreed to form the Quail Coalition following their departure from Quail Unlimited. The Quail Coalition is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization that was formed to continue our commitment to restore and sustain quail in the State of Texas. Quail Coalition is committed to a unique business model and set beliefs.
Membership is $35 per person. To join the South Texas Chapter of Quail Coalition, choose one of the two options below.
